Description: LA PERSONA, an amalgamation of events devised to test
your verbal versatility when your back is against the wall with time
escaping slyly. As a mega event of Utkansh , La persona presents a
platform to all participants to showcase their knowledge, general
awareness, confidence and help each individual to dig a little
deeper and recognize their potential.
A LITERARY TRIATHALON that carves out the best of you.
Individual participation
ROUND 1: Debate Rules: (DAY 1)
1) Formation of a two-member team.
2) A total of 4 minutes will be allotted per team (2 min individual
speaking time).
3) Pseudo British Parliamentary style of debate.
4) Repetition of the partner's points not allowed.
5) Repetition of base points not allowed.
ROUND 2: Press Conference Rules: (DAY
2)
1) Team v/s team round.
2) Total time of 10 to 12 minutes will be allotted per team.
3) One person cannot answer two consecutive questions.
4) Only one rebuttal question is allowed.
5) Imaginary roles can be assumed.
ROUND 3: (DAY 3)
Part 1 - Noun Connect.
Description:
1) Randomly assign 4-5 nouns to the participant.
2) Participant is expected to form a storyline with a relatable and
sensible plot using them.
Judging:
1) Content spoken in the
given time frame...
2) Quality of the content.
3) No. Of given nouns Used
Part 2: Race against time
Rules:
1) Total time of 90 seconds will be allotted.
2) Rapid fire round to check the general knowledge.
3) Questions can be passed.
4) Marking on the basis of the maximum number of questions answered
in 90 sec.

Description Open Mic provides you a platform to come and
narrate stories, speak poetries, tell incidents, express soliloquy
and win hearts with your performance. You can speak well if your
tongue can deliver the message of your heart.
Individual participation
ROUND: Open Mic:
1 Hindi or English language can be used as a medium of expression.
2 There is no prescribed format for presenting oneself on stage. The
subject matter can be a poetry, a story, an experience, an anecdote
or anything with no restriction on a topic as well.
3 Each individual would be given a maximum 5 minutes to speak and
marks would be deducted on the exceeding time limit.
4 Any hateful comment towards any religious, ethnic or social group
would not be entertained.
Also, the abusive language or inappropriate content would lead to
disqualification.
5 Participants would be judged on presentability, fluency and
content.<

Description
Many of us tend to judge people or form opinions, or even end up
being judged, with just a look. Forget having a conversation, we
might not even look at that person again. However, an initiative is
trying to ensure that people go beyond the physical judgement stage
to discover others. Blindfold conversations will provide a person to
go beyond their limitations of interacting with others.
Individual participation
1.Each participant will be paired with another unknown participant
and will be blindfolded.
2.They will be given a topic on which tell will need to proceed the
conversation.
3.Students from other colleges will not be allowed to participate
without a valid UTK ID and photocopy of bank passbook.
4.Use of the Internet is not allowed.
5. Participants caught cheating will be disqualified.
6. Misbehavior of any sort will not be tolerated and will lead to
disqualification from the event.
7. In case of any conflict, the decision of the event head will be
final.

Description: To become a truly great
writer, knowing your grammar is a must. I am a grammarian tests how
well the participant knows the in-s and out-s and the linguistic
complexities of English. This is an event that gives you an
opportunity to show off your grammar skills.
Round 1: Individual participation
Round 2: 5 teams with 4 participants
each
1. There will be two rounds. Round 1 is a written questionnaire with
time limit 30 minutes. Round 2 is a verbal quiz.
2. Round 1 will have 30 questions of 2 marks each. 1 mark will be
deducted for every wrong answer and no negative marking for
unanswered questions. The marks after checking of sheets will not be
disclosed to anyone.
3. Students from other colleges will not be allowed to participate
